Sugar paper

Wafer paper
- Lightweight and thin material
- Suitable for simpler designs and decorations
- A good choice for decorating muffins and for toppers
- More economical solution
(0.3 mm) wafer paper is more flexible, slightly translucent, and perfect for bending 3D decorations (flowers, butterflies), but it is not intended to be placed directly on cream. (0.6 mm) wafer paper is opaque, firm, and holds its shape well, making it ideal for creating standing figurines (toppers), and it can be placed on drier cake surfaces.
Fondant / sugar paste paper
- Thicker and significantly more flexible material
- Holds its structure very well; there is less risk of tearing during handling
- An excellent choice for wrapping cake sides (cake ribbons) and for 3D elements
- Distinctly sweet, pleasant taste reminiscent of classic sugar paste
